BGN is for adult gamers, streamers, artists, and creators. Most of us are 21 to 40, working full-time or freelance, and serious about turning what we love into how we live. If you've been gaming since the GameCube, still play after a long workday, and want a community that takes the craft and the hustle seriously, you'll fit right in.
-
No. We're Bronx-born and proud of it, but our members are in 5+ states and 3 countries. The Bronx is the home base. The Discord is global. IRL events happen across NYC.
-
Yes. The Discord is free. Most events are free or low-cost. Patreon and the shop are how you support the work if you want to back what we're doing financially, but nothing about being part of BGN requires you to pay.

Voice chats running 24/7, weekly game nights, daily convos, and a Workshop space for the folks chasing the bag. You'll find people gaming together, swapping client leads, talking shop about streaming and content, planning meetups, and sometimes just hanging out after work. It's an active community, not a graveyard server.
-
Yeah. Pull up to an event. Tournaments, IRL meetups, workshops, and co-working sessions across NYC don't require Discord. You can also follow us on Instagram to keep up with drops and events from the sidelines until you're ready to plug in.

A part of the Discord built for members who treat their craft as a business. Streamers building their channels, freelancers landing clients, creators developing IP. We share leads, give feedback, and staff up client work as a crew when it makes sense.
-
We do. Members of the community get hired for events, content production, social, and creative direction work, both for BGN's own projects and for outside clients who hire us as a crew. Joining the Discord is one of the ways into that pipeline.

Most gaming Discords are built for teens, focused on one specific game, or chasing the streamer/clout angle. BGN is built for adults who already have full lives and still love this. We're a creator collective as much as a gaming community. Events, merch, client work, and member-led projects are as much a part of BGN as the late-night voice chats.
Pull up to the Discord. Catch us at an event. Follow on Instagram. Wear the merch.
We're not hard to find.
